Does applying Vaseline to your eyelashes make them grow thick and long?

Applying mascara daily dries your lashes and you would have probably noticed one or 2 lashes falling out when you remove the make-up.
Vaseline provides a very good conditioning and moisture to the lashes. Though the time frame to see the results varies from person to person, you can see some improvements in less than a week.
We all know that Vaseline petroleum jelly is used to make cosmetics and that it is not harmful for your skin. But to be on a safer side, apply Vaseline on a tiny bit of your arm area one day before you are planning to start applying to your lashes to check if you are allergic to Vaseline.
Once you are sure you are not allergic, apply Vaseline every night with your fingers or you can clean and use one of your old mascara wands.
