 Drink Green Tea and lose weight

I drink Green tea more than 5 times a day. Not for it's taste, no way!! I drink only because I have heard a lot about the benefits of Green tea and also seen the results.

One could find only positive effects on the body by drinking green tea and it has never been proved wrong. I will try and list as many benefits as I can, hoping you will overlook the slight bitter taste in the tea and drink it for its abundant goodness.


  • Green tea is loaded with antioxidants which reduces the formation of Free Radicals in the body. 
  • Antioxidants in green tea also stops the oxidation of Bad cholesterol.
  • Drinking Green tea regularly decreases the chances of getting Cancer and Alzheimer's disease.
  • It also prevents from Parkinson's disease and many experiments claim to have proved that it can also be a cure for Parkinson's.
  • Drinking Green tea keeps your skin younger for many years and healthy too.
  • Applying Green tea to your skin will reduce acne and pimples.
  • It reduces the risk of getting Blood pressure.
  • Also helps in treating Depression to some extent.
  • It is also anti-bacterial and hence protects your tooth from decaying.

How much to drink?

You can drink as many cups of green tea per day as you want. The more you drink the more benefits you get from it.

How to drink?

Adding Milk to green tea takes out all the benefits from it and so does sugar. 
For your first cup in the morning, you can add lemon and honey which boosts the antioxidants to be more available for your body to absorb. 
It is good if the cups you have in the rest of the day is plain and also, you can enjoy it hot or chilled.
