Weight loss tip #5

It is always what to eat and how much to eat when it comes to losing weight. You may think that skipping your meals can make you lose weight but that is not true. Skipping meals regularly slows down the metabolism in your body thus making you gain weight.

Also, when you have heavy meals regularly, the glucose level in your blood shoots up. As blood cells absorb the sugar, the body starts craving for more. This makes you more hungry and you tend to eat more. Our pancreas starts creating the insulin so that the blood sugar can be used for energy. When more insulin gets accumulated, body stops burning fat and starts storing it.

So, the key weight loss tip here is to maintain normal blood sugar levels. Start eating smaller meals 6 to 8 times a day which is better than having 3 heavy meals.

  • From my next weight loss tip, I will start listing the food that will aid in weightloss, keep blood sugar level normal and keep you healthy.
